This article is intended for Employee, Manager & Administrator User Roles. What is a User Role?
The Veroxos workflow solution features an approvals process which can be used for a variety of use cases.
The most common use case is for line managers to approve hardware purchases for a member of their team.
How does it work?
The Veroxos solution stores employee information from a data feed provided by the organization's HR department. To easily enable the approvals functionality, the line manager ID can be populated to automate the hierarchical approval structure.
Once configured, an approvals block can be inserted into any Veroxos workflow and certain conditions can be configured.
Once triggered, the employee's manager will receive an email communication with details of the request and the option to approve or decline the employee request.
Administrators can learn more about HR Integration in this help article: 'HR Integration '.
Reminders & Notifications
The solution supports approval reminders which can be configured by your account management team.
Reminder Option 1 - Send reminders to the manager who has pending tickets awaiting review.
Reminder Option 2 - Send updates to the employee advising that their manager has been chased.
Once the ticket has been approved or declined, an email is sent to the requestor advising them of the outcome and the Veroxos ticket is updated.
Exceptions & Exclusions
The solution supports exclusions - if certain user groups or individual IDs need to be excluded, this can be configured in the solution.
For example, you may decide to exclude VIPs / executives from the approvals process.
